Youtube Changes

Post by zim »

So now they seem to have a word chili cheese fries.

example:
...****, ****, ****, ****, **** sucker, and ****.

Wait, you can't say **** anymore?

And there is a new button that says " Download ($0.99) " on videos

It's easy to download for free with Firefox 3.5 or Safari 4...

yep. pretty sure FF has had a plugin to grab the flv file for a number of years now, which is what i assume you're referring. in fairness i guess that's not quite the same as the premium download, as it's an HQ h.264 file, but really i don't see much of a compelling reason to pay for that... especially when more and more files on youtube have high-res/HD versions.

unless you're referring to some way to bypass the checkout system and grab the h.264 file directly, which would be quite interesting indeed :bulb:

No, it's a plugin. Safari's downloads under the "Activity" gay man's telescope in "gay man's telescope" but it's also just an flv. If it's not a critical file, the quality is acceptable.
