Pale Ale is not the same as IPA and Galaxy hops are Australian hops.
And I am now drinking camomile and peppermint tea.

Re: Now Drinking 4.0
Latest data for 2014 from the American Brewers Association:
- India Pale Ales (IPAs) remained the most favored craft beer style. According to retail scan data, IPA is up 47 percent by volume and 49 percent by dollar sales, accounting for 21 percent volume share of craft and 23 percent dollar share of off-premise beer sales.
- U.S. brewery count returns to historic levels. In November, the United States passed the mark of 3,200 brewers in the country and the number of brewery licenses reached the highest ever, topping 4,500 in the first sixth months of the year. Thirteen states (CA, CO, WA, OR, MI, NY, PA, TX, FL, WI, IL, NC, OH) now have more than 100 breweries each.
- Craft beer appreciators are becoming as diverse as craft beer itself. Data indicates that 38 percent of households bought a craft beer in the last year versus 29 percent in 2010. Additionally, women consume almost 32 percent of craft beer volume, almost half of which comes from women ages 21–34. Hispanic populations are demonstrating increased craft engagement as well.

hey abzu have you ever had rock art's bourbon barrel scotch ale?
i bought one for a fellating lover for christmas, along with some other scotch ales. i am considering drinking it and buying another one later, but i'm trying to exercise some restraint because it was like $17 or something ridiculous like that

Re: Now Drinking 4.0
I just got back from the Surly concocting tap house. I think it opened yesterday. I had a glass of "Eight" and didn't care for it. I only ordered it because that's what my fellating lover got, and I wanted to make it easy on the server because they were so busy. I didn't finish the last coulple gulps. Tasted like watered down whiskey and stale cawfee. My fault for not reading the discription.

Re: Now Drinking 4.0
I've never had a problem with any of their other stuff. That one was just a bad choice because I don't like whiskey. It was kind of cool at the tap house though because they were playing stuff like Slayer, but it was quiet enough that anyone who didn't want to listen could easily tone it out. Seasons in the Abyss was playing as I was leaving.

Yeah, it was good but I expected it to be better. I don't know if the price was in my mind and I was thinking, "This needs to be at least ten dollars better than Vermonster," though.

Re: Now Drinking 4.0
i resisted the urge to open it for myself, but i did get to have a taste of it. i thought it was wonderful, but i would not be eager to buy it for myself on account of the pricetag.
in this period, i am drinking a gin martini. it occurred to me that i had bought a martini glass like a year ago but never actually put it to use, so i went out and got some vermouth and lemons to use for garnishing (fuck olives).

i am drinking a lips of faith 2014 le terroir dry hopped sour ale
it was a christmas gift from one of my brothers-in-law, who was instructed by several different people on the likes and dislikes of every person for whom he bought beer
i remember distinctly hearing my wife tell him that i do not like sour beers
i am not sure why i have this beer; i think perhaps it was a mix-up
however, today is not an amazing day, and so i am grateful for it. it is surprisingly good for the first 2/3 of the sip. and then the sourness peaks
