Bought Google Pixel phone

Finally ditched my iPhone 4, which, don't know if you remember, doesn't go past 3g. So for a year I had LTE service but wasn't able to use it because of that.


For the first time in my life, this feels like I've caught up with tech fashion. Before I always bought used stuff, or older generation things, never the latest and greatest gadget.


I like that I can speak to the device through the Google Assistant, tell it to do things like "Message person", dictate the message and send, or ask it to plot the way home on Google maps. I know Siri supposedly does the same thing but hey it's a first for me so I'm impressed.
