i often wonder what i will do for work when i get older. sometimes i think i'd like to teach younger kids about computers as i wish i had a good computer teacher when i was little.

I have some money tied up in stocks but it's laughably not anywhere close to enough to live on for more than a couple of years at most at this point. Hopefully by time I retire it will have grown enough to be worthwhile, assuming the economy doesn't crash in the near future. I'm more concerned with saving enough to buy a house - not having to pay rent or a mortgage once you're retired would make things a lot easier for sure.

I feel that should only be an option if you are in shit health. If I was in constant pain and struggled with everyday life when I'm an old fart I think I would just say fuck it.

i'm reasonably healthy right now but the odds don't favor me making it to 65, let alone past it

that's before you consider the student loans and other shit that prevent me from actually saving money
