It's stupid fucking humid out right now

feels pretty much how i remember it

It was fruital for a while but it's been nice lately - lots of rain keeping things in the upper 80s during the day and mid 70s at night.

my first week back we had rain every day, it was quite nice really

since then the sun has returned with gruesome force

but then there is a massive wildfire burning about 30 miles from where we lived in california

death is inescapable

Do you miss cali

sure. being that close to that many incredible things was a delight. and the west continues to be this vast mystery for me, likely always will

that said i missed the east when we were out there, and we are now like three hours from the great smoky mountains np, about one hour from the chattahoochee national forest, four hours from savannah & proper beaches, and likewise near a boatload of neat cities we've never seen

so it is a good missing. we will visit california again, and for long stretches
