Dredd. Great movie, but what's up with gun's id check. When someone picks up the gun and fails the id check, it blows up. But throughout the whole movie Judge Dredd is wearing gloves. If the gun relies on an id check from the hand and thumbprint to function then how does Dredd get it to work wearing gloves...

Maybe his gloves have his fingerprints on them

The gloves read his fingerprints and then transmit to the gun via secure Bluetooth once physical contact is made with said. Or something.

i don't necessarily think that's true. it's not uncommon for youngins to rebel against their parents and do something like that

You would think there would be a war and all the families would unite against his. The families went to war for less (like when he killed McClusky and Solozzo). But instead all the gangster families just sit there and take it
