living alone
i'm not used to it (i've never lived alone) but it's not too bad so far
i do feel the loneliness though. i really am reminded of when i lost my pup, i just have to try not to think about it too much. i still feel really weird about everything but not as sad as i was initially.

Re: living alone
Living alone is the best.
Being able to do what you want, when you want, go wherever, etc without explanation.
most people "need" too much. I live simply and can keep myself entertained very easily. Give me beer, music, internet, and video games/blurays and I'll be good until I'm dead. I don't put my wants and needs in others hands. My father is the same way. I imagine it's where I get it from and I'm grateful I dont need anyone else to be happy/content.
I wouldn't change it for the world

I've lived alone for quite some time now, and jorsh said it best. I love my independence, and dealing with other humans all the time is exhausting

Re: living alone
I live alone for 4 weeks now. I don't feel lonely, it's great to come back home and do whatever I want after spending not less than 8 hours at work (weekdays) or 10 hours at university (every second weekend).

Re: living alone
hmm, i miss living alone sometimes, there is a niceness to not having any obligations but your own. but that's a very expensive way to live, and i don't make a ton of money. also, i think it's much more useful for me to have regular social contact outside of work/online. i am a much better person when i am forced to physically coexist with others in a more personal context.
i also don't think i could've figured any of this nonsense out if i hadn't given the hermit life a go for a time.
all the best on your mystery solo endeavor, zim you'll get some fresh revelations from the experience and work out where to go from here

Re: living alone
Living alone is one of my long-term goals as I'm currently residing at my sister's place with her family and I just chip in for the bills and such.
Although at this point, probably the only way I'm gonna achieve that is if I move to another country. I've been contemplating moving to Singapore or even...the United States.
