I've been pulling 55-60 hour work weeks the past 2 months. It's been nice to get all that overtime pay but fuck I'm getting burned out. I need a vacation :oldryan:

I think the most I could ever expect to see at my job is 45 hours, and thankfully that will almost certainly never happen. We get time and a half after 8 hours, but my understanding is that it doesn't take long for that to stop being worth it due to taxes.

That being said, I just got off a three week leave of absence so I feel like even more of a whiny bitch with my negative attitude toward anything over 40 hours.

I move freight around for a mom and pop operation called FedEx. The company recently acquired TNT Express, so transferring overseas is...still completely out of the question for me.

Are you a truck driver? If so what do you drive, Mack, Kenworth, Freightliner, Peterbilt?
