i was actually happy to see that michigan beat florida

while i am way down on the midwest since the election i am permanently down on the state of florida, so anything that makes their flagship university's legions of fans unhappy is a good thing as far as i'm concerned

however my overall enthusiasm for college football is waaay down since leaving a college town

that is true for I as well. I forgot to watch most of the games last year - even though there are a ton of FSU fans here in lummo's cowtown. Since the whole town doesn't get into it - the overall enthusiasm and interest just isn't there.
