i actually did have some beer the other night as meine wife and i went to a fancy pants dinner on campus wherein all the courses were paired with local beers

however we signed up for this before n'october went into effect and so it does not count against the total

which remains zero

I drank a 6 pack of Abita Andygator last night and fucking blacked out! I can't believe it - I haven't done anything like that in well over 10 years!
I started drinking around 5pm and was done around 7:30 or so. I remember going into the bathroom around 8 or so and then next thing I knew it was 4 in the morning, the sink was running, and I was lying on my back on the bathroom floor!
I usually have absolutely no problem killing a 6 pack of beer - in fact after a couple of hours I'll often go out and do something if I drank it earlier in the day. but this shit, damn it just hit me hard! maybe I didn't pace my self enough or didn't eat enough prior...Andygator is 8%alc while I usually drink stuff in the 4-5% range so maybe that had something to do with it.
Or maybe i'm just getting old. All I know is I feel like absolute shit this morning....

6 beers at 8% in 2.5 hours is pretty intense, i could cover maybe half that in the same length of time

All I know is andygator is a good ass beer

i don't think i've had it before i didn't have any abita at all when i was in nola and that was pushed pretty heavily as the local beer of choice. they distribute here though so it seemed a waste
