What's a typical breakfast in the area you live in?

Post by shadowalk »

Savage breakfast meals tend to be centered around garlic rice and sunny-side up eggs. Some would just eat plain bread with cheese, butter, ham or bacon. Some would just go for cup of cawfee and a marlboro. Here are my personal favorites:

Tapsilog - beef tapa (beef cured with soy sauce and spices, kinda like an 'unprocessed' beef jerky), one or two sunny-side up eggs, and garlic rice; sometimes accompanied by pickled unripe papaya relish and/or sliced tomatoes

Image

Chosilog - same concept as tapsilog except this one uses philippine chorizos which vary from the different regions island regions here (there's a spicier, garlic-y variation and i prefer that over the others)

Image

Tuyosilog - same concept as all of the above except this one's got dried salted fish and/or squid

It's either that or jorsh's favorite fertilized duck embryo eggs with vinegar and chilies.

a typical southern breakfast involves grits and eggs and bacon and cawfee and probably biscuits and gravy too

it is extremely heavy and unhealthy and i do not recommend it unless you have just finished a tremendous amount of physical activity

No oil used just a good non stick pan, I'm following an eating plan so this works with that.

I usually have two soybean sausages, bread with cheese or tomato and tea. Sometimes fried eggs.
