you can figure out how facebook has your political affiliation pegged through your normal settings page when you're logged in

it's a good lesson in why STEM dullards shouldn't be allowed to rule. we've wound up with a monopoly power that is increasingly responsible for managing global discourse, but cannot conceive of politics outside the superficial american liberal/conservative divide. and so shapes it along those narrow moronic confines.
