File recovery

Post by Ninny »

My brother has a broken disk, I reinstalled XP but didn't find any remaining files. Who knows of software that can restore lost files :alone:

unless xp was installed on a separate partition from those files, i'm afraid they have been overwritten

try these:

<!-- m -->http://www.filehippo.com/download_file_recovery/<!-- m -->

<!-- m -->http://www.filehippo.com/download_recuva/<!-- m -->

good luck :santa:

This happened to me. I reinstalled XP but with an external HD attached. Lost everything. I used "Ontrack Easy recovery" and got everything back. Costs like $400, but you can pirate it.

Or you could just snag a boot disk iso with lots of good low level disk utilities.
