it will be a rough approximation, with more detailed attention paid to prominent landmarks. this was the case with fallout 4 and its rendering of greater boston, anyway

A post nuclear New River Gorge Bridge and the Greenbrier Resort are the two most noticable landmarks in the trailer

I want to play this game.

I read some speculation that other players will play the roles of the npc's in previous Fallout games.

not sure they will play those roles but they were pretty frank that there are no NPCs just monsters.
