it will be a rough approximation, with more detailed attention paid to prominent landmarks. this was the case with fallout 4 and its rendering of greater boston, anyway :santa:

It'd be nice if Bethesda would detail the map portion of the game as well as they did skyrim.

I read some speculation that other players will play the roles of the npc's in previous Fallout games.

not sure they will play those roles but they were pretty frank that there are no NPCs just monsters.
