The idea that it is generally hard to pin down someone's age when they're almost certainly between 25 and 40 has come up a few times at work. Then of course it becomes kind of a fun thing to do the whole "how old do you think I am?" game (obviously I would never just walk up to someone ask).

I'm 32, but I always get mid-20s. I think it's because I still can't grow a full beard. I have decent amount of grey hair, but I keep it short for most of the year so I guess it isn't noticeable. When I do grow it out it's during the winter so I usually have a stocking cap on.

I always figured I looked my age or older because I go through periods of very heavy drinking, but now I'm wondering if people just think I look sick or have aids. If I can find it I'll post a picture of a driver's license photo from about 7 years ago taken when I was several months into about a year long binge. I looked like shit.

people usually think i'm about 10 years younger than I actually am. I guess that's a good thing.
