In your honest opinion, what would you consider to be the best winter shoe?

anything that keeps your feet warm dry and firmly planted on the ground
i don't really have any especially good foul weather footwear though, i anticipate my solovairs (basically doc martens with white stitching and black soles instead of yellow & brown) will probably get a lot of action this winter though because it is one of two pairs of boots that i own
