there are usually a few people rocking shirts from said cruise here when I go to shows - when I've asked them about it they've had nothing but good things to say.
the only downside is it is expensive - but - there are only 3K people on board not counting musicians and crew so all the shows are intimate (compared to something like Wacken) plus the bands mingle with the crowds so you'll always be running into them. the biggest upside is food is included and you have your own cabin with a shower. I guess the other downside is alcohol is not included in the price - apparently some have run bar tabs up of several hundred dollars haha.
perhaps one day I'll get on board as well - just have to convince the wife!
