Eating insects / making money with insect farming

Anyone considered doing this? Insects are the diet of the future. They should also theoretically be cheaper while providing good nutrition. And humans have been eating them since the beginning of time. Anyone tasted insects? How do they taste? I'm thinking of ordering some cricket flour to taste.

Not sure about the farming aspect but I think they’re indeed the future. I’ve eaten sauteed black ants once and they’re really nice.

This is something I won't do. Even lobster and shrimp and too close to insect for me to tolerate.

Adobo crickets. They’re a delicacy in a province 30 miles north of Manila and they’re best served with beer. Farmed from rice fields, they’re crunchy and it’s similar to eating cracklings. They’re usually served sizzling on a hot plate with lots of chili so if you love beer and spicy food, you may like them.

I haven't had but If I knew someone that knew how to properly cook them I would give them a try.
