tried those a lot, i feel like most medications have zero effect on me, i dunno
sometimes i can sleep well for like a week but i can never maintain it, staying up an hour later than usual will throw the whole thing out of wack again

You need to understand that not everyone needs the same amount of sleep. Some people sleep better from 2 or 3 am. Of course it’s difficult if you have a regular job.
Maybe it has to do with sugar intake during the day. Or something else from your diet.

Weed always worked the best for me. Liquid Unisom works for me if I only use it a couple times per week, but I always have trouble getting over the grogginess after waking up off it. Plus it wouldn't surprise me if several years down the road it is discovered that taking it regularly has a very negative long term health impact.
