Are you addicted to cawfee?

I drink two cups a day during my work week. I worry sometimes about developing feelings that two cups isn't enough and craving a third. And the worry is that if I go down that slippery slope by drinking the third cup that I will become addicted.

I used to be until I almost completely switched over to green tea since 2014. But I drink that stuff like a moose these days.

I drink 4 cups of cawfee a day, in the morning mostly. The rest of the day tea or water.

No problems with any kind of addiction. Sometimes I don’t drink cawfee at all.
It’s also an attitude you need to have towards addiction in general.

usually 2 cups per day. i have been drinking cawfee in some form or another since i was 3 years old. also have no problem putting it down, i don't get caffeine withdrawals or anything like that.

i'm that way with alcohol and tobacco, oddly enough. could always stop for periods of time without serious withdraw other than a mild hangover after a heavy night of drinking. but once that passed I was fine and could go days or weeks without. tobacco never did anything for me - haven't touched it in years.
now caffeine on the other hand - oh yeah - if I go more than a day I get serious withdraw.

I only do about two cups per day at lunch at work, and that's just because we finally got a coffeemaker with free cawfee a couple years ago. before that it was two cups of tea on the way to work.

No caffeine leaves me feeling kind of flat, but it's tolerable and barely noticeable. I feel fantastic shortly after what I drink now, which is why I limit myself. Obviously nothing particularly bad would come from overindulging, but I could see how it would get be exhausting feeling like I always need more.

i am not addicted but i enjoy it a lot. i have a lifestyle rule, which is no cawfee after midday (and relatedly, no alcohol before midday), but i break this every now again depending on situations like beer competitions or festivals and if i am just super wrecked but have to meet someone in the evening or something

I have similar lifestyle rules. No cawfee after 3pm and no alcohol before later in afternoon, say 5pm.
