I drink most of my beer at room temp anyways, so no.

Re: Beer koozie
if you can't drink a good beer at room temp then it is not a good beer. cold beer masks the taste - that is how I judge such things.
not saying I won't ever drink cold beer - it's just not my preference.

Re: Beer koozie
i've got an alchemist coozie that i use from time to time when i'm canning it up
but usually i pour that action into a glass
lummo you are crazy, the flavor-masking thing is why macros often urge to serve it ice-cold, as in near to freezing. that doesn't mean you're not supposed to refrigerate or chill it though! good beer should be kept refrigerated and served at like, 45-50 degrees

Just pour the beer into an insulator bottle. That'll keep it cold too.

Re: Beer koozie
In lummo’s defense, most trappist beers of 7% alcohol and higher towards 12% are best at a temperature of 8 to 15 degrees Celcius. Which is definitely not fridged.
Those do taste much better then. Which is a temperature of a good, dark cellar and not a refrigerator.
Normal beer and IPA’s are best served colder than that indeed. But, whatever floats ur boat.

Who gives a shit about whether it tastes good warm. Good cold beer will always taste better than good warm beer.
