Re: I got a 6 month gym membership
im just trying to lose my stomach and tits. i need to shed at least 120lbs to be considered in the higher end weight class of what i should be. 140 to be considered "normal" weight
just wish i had someone to go with me. not having any encouragement makes it harder.

Re: I got a 6 month gym membership
just ordered a month of nutrisystem meals, snacks, and shakes all portioned out for $430. i just like it because i dont have to do any work i just eat what they send me and be done with it. $430 is a lot but eating out every day i figure i spend anywhere from $600-$900 a month on food now

Re: I got a 6 month gym membership
I finally had to put a hold on drinking a couple weeks ago, and working on preparing healthier meals and keeping up with regular exercise has unexpectedly helped take the edge off. I know that sounds like bullshit - I wouldn't believe it either - but it absolutely has been the case so far.jorsh wrote:thats gonna be the hardest part. drinking a case of miller high life now
Not sure if this will help, but 1-2 tablespoons of good scrapple cider vinegar diluted with water really helps eliminate sugar cravings at night that I always get from the absence of beer after regularly drinking for a long time. I take it twice daily to keep heartburn in check, but also found that to be an unexpected benefit.
Good luck with the diet

First day at the gym in the books. Burned 3,300 calories walking briskly on the treadmill and using the elliptical. Consumed 1,535 calories of food and drink today so I think that’s good?

I dunno what’s what the Fitbit that I just bought and setup right before I worked out said. I thought it didn’t sound right. I was there for an hour.

Re: I got a 6 month gym membership
i am definitely not calling you a liar, but i wonder if the calorie counter is perhaps a bit wonky. the only measuring stick i have is generally speaking running a mile burns between about 100-150 calories, so for example running a half marathon should burn approximately 1300 to 2000 caloriesjorsh wrote:arborist shrub tarkington wrote:that is a huge number of calories to burn with those two devicesjorsh wrote:First day at the gym in the books. that said only consuming 1535 calories in a day is really good, that is a low number especially when paired with an hour-long workout. good jorb
