i am definitely not calling you a liar, but i wonder if the calorie counter is perhaps a bit wonky. the only measuring stick i have is generally speaking running a mile burns between about 100-150 calories, so for example running a half marathon should burn approximately 1300 to 2000 calories

that said only consuming 1535 calories in a day is really good, that is a low number especially when paired with an hour-long workout. good jorb

It’s 24 hours. Just use the keycard they give you. That’s why I go late at night between 10-12, no dbags there so I have the entire place to myself and I can jam it the metal

yeah that is bonkers. when i was using the elliptical in my last apartment an especially vigorous session would burn 400-500. are you using one of those fitbit thingies to track calorie burn?

i only ask because those are notoriously inaccurate -- not to the degree that they'd be off by a thousand odd calories, but 20-30% margin of error isn't uncommon for those devices
