i was initially excited because he's all rick'd out in the trailer (styled poorly though; should've worn pods or astaires with the t-shirt/shoe combo. or a short level tee instead of the standard elongated one he wore. you're fucking rich dude where the hell was your stylist on this one
anyway i got about 5 minutes in and there wasn't a single joke. uproarious laughter abounds but there is no clear reason why
also the stage wardrobe was a generic flightsuit and some current-season alexander mcqueen kicks
might as well proudly rock a t-shirt labeled "SLAYER, BUT WITH GARY HOLT"
It was okay, you can tell he was on a mission. I think he was playing it safe for too long with today's cancel culture. He just said fuck it and made it a point to be as offensive as possible. It was kinda refreshing honestly
I agree with ryan and I agree with the message that Chappelle is supposedly trying to convey here. But to me, he comes off as someone trying to pull a Bill Hicks and failed.
Or maybe because I'm not black and thus his method of humor delivery is strange to me in this one.

Very superficial and easy jokes or just trying to be harsh and insulting or sexist. Not many very clever or intelligent comedy going on.
I feel that in times like these, the superficial and harsh/insulting/sexist type of humor maybe the only humor the world has left. But I think that even Chappelle held back on that one in this recent skit of his.
I guess it all boils down on whether you agree with what Chappelle is trying to say here or not. I for one do. Fuck all that 'woke'/politically-correct bullshit that is such a cancer today.
