i have zero investment in diablo and know nothing about ~the lore~ but i have to give it up, that was a good trailer

that said i played a bit of d3 and it was the most painfully dull game i've played in the last decade (which includes the latter years of my FFXI career). don't expect this game to be any good either

Nothing tops the dark vibe of D1.

The thing with Diablo games is no matter how hard they try to come up with a good storyline or good trailers like these, it will all be irrelevant once the game goes full swing and what will matter in the end is to how to keep the players playing. D3 fell hard on that even after they released the expansion.

It's like a D2 reboot but at least hey steered clear of the gameplay of D3. It does have cooperative free roam boss events which hopefully it doesn't take away from the single player experience. Anyway, this is on my preorder list for sure.
