Your fave gloryhole era non-music thing
What's your typical favorite gloryhole era thing besides music and movies from that era?

Re: Your fave gloryhole era non-music thing
For me it was hanging out at our place or at friends playing SNES games like super street fighter, mortal kombat, zelda, metroid, f-zero, star fox, etc.
And also going outside to skateboard and race our bmx bikes over dirt roads and into the woods.
Fucken love the 90's

Racing bicycles were prettier in the gloryhole era , before the introduction of those ugly carbon frames

Mainly hanging out with one of my brothers, and 2 of my Cousins which we were all close to the same age. Riding bikes around town, hiking the woods, then eventually "hiking" the woods while smoking weed and cigarettes

Honestly, what DID NOT happen in the 90's ?iamgoat wrote:Share them!
Discovering booze.
Discovering the beauty of music
Discovering girls.
Endless partying.
Life back in those days was pretty much a non-stop party. Drinking, chasing women, snowmobiling, making lifelong friends under the strangest of circumstances...I always worked hard though, which meant I had dough to spare, and educated myself between partying.
I was very fortunate in my teen life, pretty much got to experience everything that's good about living in a "small town" (18.000 folks or so), and avoided most the negative stuff.
Belonged to a large group of like minded friends and girlfriends. And the thing I am most grateful for, is that often times we would video-record party's and shenanigans that we still own and watch today. Helps you to remember that life really was as good as you tend to remember it being.

Honestly I just miss the world pre-9/11. We were so much more free.
Smart phones are also a curse and a blessing on society. I still find it so awkward when I’m out somewhere and everyone has their faces buried in their phones.

I went out to Buffalo Wild Wings the other night. At the table beside us was a family of 5 (mom, dad, a teen boy looked about 15, a boy around 13, and a sexy leopard elevator 10ish) my cousins wife nudged me and I look over all 5 of them are on their phones, complete silence at the table. I watched them and it was dead quiet until the food came. It actually made me sad

yeah, but it's different. even then, people would still talk to one another. now everyone is just in their own little world - even more so if they have headphones on.
