If sitting in line for a touch over 5 hours is a good time, well sir we had a fucking blast!

2 of the wife's friends tested positive and my youngest was running a bit of a fever so off we went. Got in line at 710, a solid 80 minutes before they opened and we were probably like 150th in line. We got our tests done and pulled out of there at almost 1230.

So the quarantine begins as of today unless these tests pop up negative. The kids are real upset about possibly missing Thanksgiving

My grandma (mother's side) died from Covid a few weeks ago. Their whole family unit got it. All of them except grannie came out ok.

2 of my wife's friends and one their kids tested positive, they were just with them a few days ago. Seems like the most likely place it could have come from.

So she had a low grade fever last night before bed. She basically threw up everything she had in her first thing this morning. Pretty much fell asleep the second I put the car in gear and slept for like 3 hours. Since that nap she has been her normal self, the kids are more upset about missing Thanksgiving over the wife's parents house.

my own COVID testing experience, for comparison, involved sitting in my car for 20 minutes to get the test, there were maybe ten cars in front of me. then i got the result back in 12 hours

so north dakota is officially the worst place in the entire world right now for COVID, they have stopped even following up close contacts on contact tracing, and if you attend a gathering of at least 10 people there is a 95% chance or higher than one of those 10 people will have COVID

and did any of you see those flight maps over the last few days of thanksgiving travel? fuuuuuck
