I don't like soggy bread, but I have had some good toasted sandwiches that were soaked in what was basically a vinaigrette (I would have never been able spell that last word correctly without help...)
A creamy dressing seems kind of gross on bread when I think about it, but I like mayo and pesto as long as an oven is involved so I'm sure it would be ok.

if i make a sandwich and i feel like adding something like that i use either wholegrain mustard, tomato chutney, olive tapenade, pesto or onion relish

refined goop from a squeeze bottle is my last preference and i would prefer to just go eau naturale than that
