That was unexpected. I know he had a reckless lifestyle and was hooked on heroin for some time but it looked like he beat the addiction in the end and found a good job so things seemed to have worked out in the end.

Reading the obituary comments also shows a side to him that I didn't know. They're saying he was the "quiet one" at family gatherings. Whereas here on the board he was loud and boisterous.

last i heard from him (at least on what he posted on the bard), he had a decent job as a quality inspector or something like that and he's got a death metal band in the works with a few tracks he shared here
basically, i was of the belief that he was doing good when he didn't post for a while so this is quite a shock

Some of what he posted here had me in tears laughing at times that I was otherwise really depressed. Even the name scunt is fucking hilarious. Hopefully he was aware that he brightened people's days like that.

haven't stopped thinking about this since i saw it, it's awful. he was an impressively persevering dude despite having issues. i remember he claimed to have kicked drugs and then got a good job and it sounded like he was on the up. also had a passion for slam like no ones business

i am recalling some of the long conversations i had with him way back in the day
he was a repressed paranoid little scuntberg and so his journey into full-blown magadom was probably inevitable

Definitely get yourself well if you're struggling. He and I didn't know each other very well but we did speak about substance abuse because it was a part of our lives. Hopefully he didn't pass from it, especially given how preventable it is. Addiction and the metal issues it comes from is a mother fucker

pretty sure his mom was in attendance for that blackstar cover, it sounds like someone in the crowd says 'thats my son' at the end that is a very nice little memory
