Hey, thanks for asking!
You would think it's documenting nature to look at my work, because I do a lot of wandering and many things catch my eye in the forest, but I don't want to limit or define myself by that. Primarily, I look for textures or particular shapes or a certain light that stands out. I try to think of my work more abstractly in that I'm not so much documenting the appearance of a thing but rather creating an over-all composition of color, light, and balance much like a painting. I would like to start shooting models again in sort of high contrast environments.
I also like shooting bands, but that's less artistic and more fun and profit.

Show me how to sell prints.
[/quote]
90% of it is networking. There are a few routes you can go and it's probably best to try them all. Craft fairs, farmer's markets, 'art in the park' type events, or bazaars tend to have photographers and painters selling work and handing out business cards and it could be good to set up a table at one or all of these with a collection of matted printed (much easier to sell than framed, in my experience -- but good to have framing as an extra option). Walk into galleries and offer to show them a portfolio of your work (best piece first, 2nd best piece last, and a good example of what you can do in between). If they aren't cunts, you will at least get a critique. Look for smaller galleries doing themed shows. My first gallery show was like that and I got a piece in then mingled and networked like crazy at the opening. Set up an Etsy shop. Get to know other artists and photographers in your area and beyond. Go to showings and talk to people and mention what you do.
You don't want to lug a portfolio everywhere, but have exmaples of your work like on your phone or something and business cards always on you.
For prints, giclee is the more expensive route but it looks the best and is probably expected at most galleries. Pricing is personal to everyone but be sure you think about the time you put in, not just the cost to print.
I know some good people and Facebook groups for networking, critiqueing and whatnot.

That's one type, and I've thought about it with a few of the smaller independent clothing makers in the area I've networked with for web development work in the past, but I mean with a person (a model) as the focal subject.
