This is my favourite snooker hall. If someone suggests playing 9-ball, 8-ball or snooker, I will pretty much always say yes, whether I am busy or not. I used to go to this particular pool hall when I was a kid, so it has a lot of memories for me. My Mum and I would drive down here, she would buy me a hot chocolate, and then beat me at pool. I was a little shit of a kid and hated losing to her so there were some temper tantrums. The issue is that I not only hated losing but I hated winning because I assumed that when I won she was "going easy". Same shit with my Dad and Scrabble etc.
It isn't licensed, so it's a nice way to spend a night without drinking. They turn a blind eye if you BYO but we never do that. I prefer to have a milkshake. Because it is unlicensed there are a lot of religious-types who come and play, meaning it is one of the more multicultural venues in the neighbourhood (it is in the middle of a famous grungy pub and club district).

I like to visit this cawfee shop. They have nice cawfee and you can watch a game. It's pretty spacious. I can't find pictures of the interior

I miss this place in Arkansas where my dad and stepmom live.
There's a Tam with my brother and the wee one walking over with a big rock.
Our home for that week.

Thanx duder, I genuinely love this place.
The same mountain can be seen in the upper pic, during summer, towering over the valley

A section of parklands along a creek about seven kilometres from the CBD. I used to come here a lot when I was a kid with the first family dog. Many great memories.
It is mostly Silurian silt/sandstones and blue stone, it used to be a rubbish tip and all vegetation has been hand-planted by city dwellers since its conversion forty years ago.

I try to come here at least once a month to walk Norva and bask in nostalgia. I have to drive to get there which is the only negative. There are some nice strip shops nearby that I sometimes go to and grab a cawfee and halloumi pie on the way.

There are some, but they are about 5 hours south from me. Round here is just a bunch of flat land, not much in the way of cool woods to hike or explore in. I found one big park that was kinda neat but it had big cell phone towers in it then I found out from one of my friends that it used to be the town dump, so that kind of killed it.

I want to, if I had my way I would just live in the woods forever and never leave.
