The Devin Townsend Project / Between The Buried and Me / Fallujah - Orlandoo, FL
Fallujah were a nice surprise - like Meshuggah but with synths and some more melodic guitar playing.
Between The Buried and Me were good and were who a lot of the crowd came out to see - they were actually better last time I saw them though - the vocalist sounded like a dying cat this time around and his screams were even worse. the crowd didn't seem to mind though.
The Devin Townsend Project headlined and delivered the goods - played for about 90 minutes. all Devin solo material no SYL but a nice mix otherwise - towards the end Devin played a couple of solo acoustic songs before diving headfirst back into crushing metal. Devin's stage banter was top notch too.
overall a worthwhile show to attend.
