Magneto #1 and Nosferatu Wars came in the post today. The first two issues of the new Sandman: Overture series should be along in a couple days as well. :xx:

I like this new Magneto series so far.

I tend to buy up the trades. My last haul was volume 1 and 2 of the Brubaker captain america, and the avx collection.

That's usually my game as well, but there are a couple series happening now I don't want to wait for (Magneto and the Sandman prequel).

Outside of that, I'm working on getting caught up with Blade of the Immortal volumes. I'm up to #16 now. #29 comes out next month I believe. I'm pretty sure there will be 30 total.

I knew I was going to lust after the Sandman prequel as soon as it was announced. A preview of the first couple pages really sold me on Magneto.

I'll check out the magneto next time I'm at the shop. Is sandman being done by gaiman?

Yep!

“People have often asked me what happened to Morpheus to make it possible for him to be captured in THE SANDMAN #1,” Gaiman said. “And now they get to find out. And finding out, they get to learn secrets of the Endless that I’ve kept to myself for 25 years. Family secrets. And I should warn you: one of the Endless dies on page five.”

 My local public library is participating which is most fucking :xx: because the nearest "comic shop" is Newbury Comics in West Leb NH about 60mi. away and will probably be packed that day. Taking MiniAbzu, of course.

I'm currently trying to figure out which store I want to hit up. My usual store in annapolis has awesome sales and in stores but it's gonna be fucking packed all day :oldryan:.

Do you have many stores in your vicinity?

FCBD and RSD make spring even more awesome.

In my city there's 2 and they are both super tiny stores. There's a few others i know of that are within a half hour drive but its kind of hit and miss with them. My go to store has been third eye comics down in annapolis because it's massive.

The whole entire right side is all trades. The front left corner of the store is the kids section. The rest of that side is the new releases and current runs of comics. The back of the store is all back issue stuff in long boxes. Center of the store is featured books, statues and other collectible stuffs.
