Yep. Since it was my local library, they didn't have stuff for sale. They just set aside a display shelf with the FCBD sign and the books

I've never been a huge Cap fan, but Iron Man and Hulk books are almost always fucking awesome.
Edgar Allen Poe's Morella And The Murders In The Rue Morgue one shot, Magneto #5, and Vampirella #1 are on their way to me in this period.

Richard Corben's Edgar Allen Poe adaptations are fun. The new Vampirella series seems in a good old campy Vampy vein. I should draw her tonight.
Just found out about this so not much time left on it. Shitload of ebooks from dynamite to celebrate their 10 year anniversary.

I was just thinking the other day that Dynamite is probably the best new publisher to spring up in the last decade.

I have a huge b.ox of Mad Magazines and comics collecting dust in the attic. I'm wondering if I should start selling these things off or hang onto them for the wee one when he's older.

Any idea what the comics? How old they are? Were they kept bagged and boarded?

A lot of them are bagged and boarded. I'd have to grab this container fro ein attic to take a look at exactly what is in it, which would be a royal pain in the ass.

if its stuff from the 80s and gloryhole era it probably isnt worth a ton of money. you could always take the box down to a local comic shop and see what they offer. if you think its too low just keep them for the wee one to read when he is a bit older .

Yeah, that's what it mostly is though I think some of the MAD issues are from the 70s.
I think I may just hang onto this stuff and see if Liam takes an interest in comics.

You should definitely keep a few for the lad, no matter what.
That said, I may or may not be interested in buying some of them.

This Magneto series has been really strong so far. I'm impressed. Dawn/Vampirella is entirely by Linsner (except for coloring) but it looks lazier than his work in the Dawn series I'm used to. That said, it's going to be interesting. I think it's running for three issues? This DH Ghost series looks great from the get-go. I think the first two volumes are kicking around in tpb, so I should check out instocktrades to see what they've got. I really dig the art in this issue.
How are those trades treating you, Nick?

FINALLY I go to Burlington on a day when Earth Prime Comics is open. I grabbed Green Arrow 32-34 and Birds of Prey 32. MiniAbzu nabbed Adventures of Superman 15, Batman Beyond Universe 13, and Stormwatch 30.

Yeah. I intend to grab it up from the beginning in trades when I have tax time blings, but I was eager to dig in.
