I actually don't read a lot of books, just a ton of articles (really long ones). This was the last one I read and finished

Jane Eyre is a great book.  I found the cross-dressing scene well trippy.  That shit isn't in the movies.

Yeah, that is a great film.  I saw the early gloryhole era adaptation when I was young'un and it freaked me the fuck out.  I would have been about eight at the time.

I picked up a Lovecraft collection a few years back that looked really cool but is not so well bound and was produced cheaply. It's pretty to look at but will not hold up well to handling as the years progress.

Here's a photo of it I found with GIS

I've seen some hardcover versions floating around that probably hold up far better.

Which collection do you have?

It is indeed awesome - the audiobook version (read by Rollins himself) is one of my favourite spoken word thingies for longer drives.

Currently I'm re-reading the 'Broken Earth' trilogy by N.K. Jemisin, a biography of the Greek composer Iannis Xenakis and 'British Battleships 1919-1945' by R.A. Burt.

Re: Fancy Book Reading

i was given the hobbit and the lord of the rings as a present when i was in primary school. i tried reading the hobbit a few times, but never got past the first chapter. i thought it was very boring and shit

Re: Fancy Book Reading

Not getting past the first chapter will set your experience with a book up for failure, no matter which book it is.

Read it :judge:

not getting past the first chapter definitely reduces the chance of finishing the book
