Pete has been selling some of his historic drum heads on his instagram and I was lucky enough to get a couple! :xx: :xx: :xx: :bang:

one from FFtF studio recording and another from Heretic European tour 2004. i am psyched to own some of this morbid angel history :grim: :xx:

A drummer like Pete would go through a couple of them each recording day. Just to keep it all in tune and sounding good. So that's why they would still seem hardly used.

During a tour every other night perhaps... that depends on venue, the day, set, etc.

Plus it seems he has taken care of them.

Especially the one from Formulas.... kinda jealous :redneck: its my favorite snare sound in metal ever.

so his wife originally sent me a picture of the heretic head with the formulas snare but they didn't send me the snare and instead i got a tom? i'm kiiiiiiiiiiinda pissed about that but not enough to complain, still really happy to have gotten anything at all
