I have a poster of Trey from this set, but it's only a closeup of Trey and allmost no backdrop to be seen. This is really an eye candy - awesome Covenant black & grey backdrop and Trey in one of his maaaaany super cool wardrobe styles

Those backdrops were not black and white. They had colored highlight in them. The same as with the sigils on the drumriser.

he does seem like the type (also can tell from interviews & liner notes, when he gave a fuck) to, if he changes his views (eg: evilness/satanism etc), want nothing more to do with old views.

Hence the removal probably as it does look like quite a satanic-based tatt.
