World Management and Morbid Angel would like to announce that due to unfortunate and last minute, unforeseen problems with a passport for one of the members of the band, as a result the Summer Festival dates slated for late July and August will have to be cancelled. In well over 30 years we have never had an incident like this, nor have we ever cancelled shows in our past. We have been advised by The US State Department / Passport Agency that a new passport will not be forthcoming in time for any of the upcoming festivals. Morbid Angel are extremely unhappy about this loss of shows and want to apologize to all the Fans, Promoters, and Vendors in Europe! We are working to have this issue remedied for the future and are looking forward to coming back to Europe and playing for all of our fans in November!!!

Good! Maybe they can finish the album sooner or whatever now.

I wanted to see them in Gdańsk in August and in Warsaw in November. Now, I'll not spend money for train ticket to Gdańsk and in Warsaw they will play in venue that is 30 minutes by public transport from where I live. I can live with this.

I bet it was Steve who had the passport issues - when was the last time the dude even left the country to go on tour?

i know that the recording part is done. i thought i remember reading they still have to listen to mixes and approve them and tweak anything. that takes up time too. that is what i meant
