Thanks. I think I confused the formatting here with that of a different site that uses only part of the URL.

Re: Tucker discusses touring and the new album
the actual substance of this interview is great. her voice and personality sucks but love her questions. its actually about the album in detail. not the average tour plan, rig rundown, future plans bullshit.

If you press the three dots button above the subscribe button it will give you an option to view an automatically generated transcript from captions.Rufus T. Firefly wrote:does anyone have a transcript? this chick is a terrible interviewer.

The transcript reads like a bad Google Chinese translation.

Re: Tucker discusses touring and the new album
Funny thing, A fellating lover of mine did a Tucker interview the day the tour got canceled. About a half an hour after the interview the message was released. During the interview the whole passport issue was discussed an according to Steven, solved.
He himself did not know about the tour cancellation...

she seems like your basic over-enthusiastic DJ, well determined to keep the energy level at unnaturally high levelsRufus T. Firefly wrote:does anyone have a transcript? this chick is a terrible interviewer.
i agree with jorsh though, good questions & good interview overall. you can tell which questions were pre-written and which were genuine follow-ups because she sounds like a normal person not reading off a script when asking a follow-up

Re: Tucker discusses touring and the new album
Steve certainly gives a detailed response to the meaning of "Piles of Little Arms." I thought it was intriguing when he said it was not the fastest nor the slowest track on the album. I'm guessing that "D.E.A.D" is the fastest with its gravity blastbeat. Of course, that would get monotonous for an entire song, not to mention exhausting for the drummer!

it would be like perversions of pain on diabolus in musica. 16th note double bass all the way through is a cool idea in theory but it can get a bit dull

Interviewer sounds enthusiastic. Atleast she hasn't asked him if he likes lemon pie.

Re: Tucker discusses touring and the new album
that was by far the best question and response i've ever seen in an interview to be honest. more interviews should ask about lemon pie.Olden Polynice wrote:Interviewer sounds enthusiastic. Atleast she hasn't asked him if he likes lemon pie.

Steve does good interviews
Even though I don't really care for the artwork, I do appreciate it a lot more after Steve explained what is going on and how it was made. Unfortunately it just didn't turn out very good imo.
For a taste of the polar opposite of the woman asking the questions, here's a really cool interview of Trey for F I heard for the first time last night:
