Quality is good. Tucker sounds solid. Scotty nails it. Still, I think the overall vibe on stage is but a glimpse of what it once was.
And the stupid one step forward two steps back routine Dan does looks really stupid in front of that fan.

it really does :redneck:

also it always makes me giggle when a band kills the lights and plays an atmospheric intro at the beginning of the show and then comes onstage and tunes up before playing any songs :squarsh: they only do it for a minute here but it's still dumb and funny. why bother having an intro if the first thing you're going to do is ruffle the kick drums and play a few open chords? it is like closing the curtains and lighting the candles for a seance, then taking a quick shit before opening the channels of communication with the dead

indeed. I honestly think Trey chose Dan just because he likes the dude. Which is a very important thing being on tour.

Scotty is fucking amazing.

I really miss their stage presence of days long lost. :( it kind of looks like a band playing morbid angel songs instead of the band embracing everything Morbid Angel once was. They do a great job at playing the songs but there's not much passion coming through. At least not to video, maybe the crowd had a different experience.

I agree with the comments on Dan... :frown:

Also...

:redneck: I heard the Mt. Erebus track as an intermission when I last saw them live too.

Wow, I didn't think it started that far back! He seems to have completely abandoned this wide-legged stance, which he was still doing in 2006:

(I keep forgetting the code for embedding a video!)

Thanks--that's easy! Has it changed? I thought just a part of the link was needed.

Yeah it changed the last time Luke updated the board. Now it's just the whole link instead of the partial one :santa:.
