Still don't dig this album at all... steve's vocals are amazing but the mix is off and the only songs I do like are written by steve!

This doesn't sound or feel like a morbid angel record to me.

Only if Trey sobers up a little bit... otherwise it's gonna suck.

Or use Rutan again for the production and let him take control of the mix. Because his last work other than MA has been great.

it wouldn't bother me if they retired, trey is clearly off the deep end and he has always been the driving force behind ma. steve has done cool stuff on his own as well as scotty and who cares about vadim. kingdoms felt like an attempt to save face after the train wreck of illud.

if they did one more album that was a banger, that'd be cool, leave on a high note. but if they did nothing, i'd be alright with that too. lets not forget these guys are getting old.
