I don't know any particulars; that's just one of two photos of he and Sabrina on his Facebook profile.
Yep - I was pulsar.

I think it's quite sad that Trey let himself go when he got a taste of love. Apparently the death of innocence came a little bit too late.

Re: Trey Azagthoth Interview (Trey's Backyard)
Isn't this negative drug-talk/paranoia for people who never tried anything? Snorting coke is hardly anything special unless you have an "addictive personality" (how I hate that term). LSD yeah... It's never been proven to cause any physical damage. It's active in VERY small doses. Did you ever consider that Pete and Trey might be born with raging metabolisms? I am myself and yeah, I've been doing my fair share of drugs through the years. Even heroin. But that never really affected my weight. It will if you don't eat and do it on a daily basis. But Trey has a band to look out for and kids to feed. It's not like he was letting it all slide after David left. He seems like he is quite a focused person (as much as you can be). Maybe he just wanted to go out and party after years of sitting in front of the computer screen. Can't blame him for that.

I thought Goddessofchaos said that when those pics were posted a while ago.
Also i see no reason for those personal things being here. Has nothing to do with his band and the music.

I would clearly say no. Anyone who has experienced a full blown LSD trip should be able to recognize the "vibrations" hehe.

I actually agree with this completely. If Trey was using hallucinogens as much as you guys claim and was using them for learning/as sacrament then there's just no way it wouldn't have some affect.
Has anyone from the board ever tried to do a MABB exclusive interview with Trey? I'd love to know if he felt drugs had an affect in the same way that Quake did on his music. It's certainly not out of the question.

so once again as I said you think that him using LSD or smoking weed would have done nothing differently for morbid angel?....it totally did just as much as quake, EVH, or even the necronomicon did for him in making music and being spiritually enlightened.

If anything it may have brought forth or amplified a few ideas for riffs but it's not like you take lsd and BAM! start making brilliant albums. It's understandable how people might think that's how he gets ideas for the songs in terms of atmosphere ect. I guess.Maybe he just likes the sounds of the techniques he frequently uses aswell? And there's always those musical influences he has.

Re: Trey Azagthoth Interview (Trey's Backyard)
I think the whole drugs and music/art thing is a conscious thought issue. To really tap into your creative 'force', you need to get out of your head, so to speak. You need to quell the mundane, conscious thoughts and let your subconscious creativity come through. Drugs can often help one do this through impairment, much like meditation and act of sensory deprivation or overload can. The conscious critic shuts the fuck up and the subconscious manifests in the medium.

The only drug I ever did was marijuanas. But I never felt creative when I did, I never wrote awesome riffs or songs on guitar while high.
My best stuff (i have no idea why) always comes to me when I'm really tired or sleep deprived. I can get sucked into the guitar while playing and it just flows out in a kind of trance state.

This is interesting to me because songs that I really enjoy have given me an intoxicated feel when I am extremely tired.

Re: Trey Azagthoth Interview (Trey's Backyard)
I cannot discount the ability of drugs to allow someone to break through that mundane, conscious layer. I've seen it in person. Myself, though, I cannot create so well with mind-altering substances. I do best in a particular setting after meditating or being part-sleepy. I've written so many songs on my way to sleep, some played out in my head before I crash and others I get up to record scratches of as fast as I can before the idea is gone.
Some people can use drugs to break through that conscious layer, some are best with other methods.
