New song "Existo Vulgore" streaming here

I like it a lot I must say, has a lot more character than GTA and Heretic but it's no FFTTF. Solo is classic.

Re: Existo Vulgoré *new song*
drums sound great (not sure about the kicks yet - very clicky), guitars a little low at times but the tone is promising!
it has WAY more brutality and balls than Heretic... need to listen a few more times...
drums and vocal drown out the guitars a bit which is a pity because I really want to hear what they sound like... it's definitely a new sound again with still the RAT distortion vibe from Trey, but it's new. Really want to hear some other songs where the guitars are a little more present. The solo is pretty cool too!
Anyway, to me this is a good start! Hopefully it will wage against the other songs.
And for some reason the way David sings reminds me of James Hettfield...

it's pretty cool, guitars aren't loud enough
i'd still prefer steves vocals though

My initial impression is positive
Dave's vocals could be a lot better, but I like the presence of the bass.
Isn't that a riff from Nevermore ?!

yeah the riff is definitely close to it, it has the same finger positions IYKWIM.
where did you get this anyway General Lee?
p.s.- how the cymbals fade out at the end is a bit weird... they come back again for half a second, like it's a little editing mistake, or a rip error.

I think it is from a Legacy sampler CD. Comes with the mag probably.

A fellating lover of mine that's a label boss/gig promoter had it on his FB page so it's obviously with Legacy magazine. This will probably feature on all cover mount cd's for metal mags. If the other "5" death metal songs that Terrorizer refer are of this quality, the techno/industrial things won't bother me. Looking forward to hearing in it's entirety to hear how it all flows in the grand scheme of things.

Re: Existo Vulgoré *new song*
First impression:
Fuck Yeah bassguitar!
Again i think Davids vocal lines are good. Something i missed with recent MA tracks. Somehow they are more musical. His voice might not be super low but it is savage and agressive. And it stands out to what everyone else is doing.
I like the guitar sound. It is just to low in the mix.
As for the arrangement, it still has to grow on me i guess. It is definately written in the same vibe as Nevermore. Not too impressed with the solo though. It is Trey nonmistakenly but it sounds to familiar.

Good stuff. Hopefully the rest of the album is similar to this.
What I like about it is that it still has the vibe I got from both Gateways and Heretic... I really thought we might be getting something more watered down.

Re: Existo Vulgoré *new song*
sounds interesting im really currious about the other songs now..
the riffing is kinda nevermorish guitars could be louder
not sure what to think about the drums..
the vocals are typical new vincent too much screaming..
the solo got angel of disease + gateways vibes in it
all in all my first opinion would be mediocre

I expected this from Tim. The drums will not have that organic feel Pete provides. Toms sound like cardboard, kicks are too clicky, etc.

Wow! Really impressed!! Sounds like they really did work a little bit more on the music than what I had thought.
I like it a lot! It has a little bit of a commercial sound, but the production sounds way better than in Heretic
Guitars and drums sound awezome! I guess this at least gives us an idea of how the rest of the "heavy" tracks will sound like...

Re: Existo Vulgoré *new song*
Well, I'm relieved that it doesn't sound like H, production wise. But I didn't expect it to.
I didn't expect Dave to do any lows, so hard to be bummed about that. Reminds me more or less of Domination vocals, maybe with a bit more of a growl to them. The big "Vulgooooooooore" stuck in my head pretty quickly. Lyrically...I could swear I heard lyrics like "with simple subjects, whoa! this (?) could be fun!" Not very Morbid. Dave's cheesy "ha ha ha" is goofy. I think he got a little too used to being theatrical while being in his wife's backing band.
I'm not really into the "smooth criminal" verse riff.
I am not blown away by the solo. Overall the song doesn't suck, but it doesn't resonate with me the way other stuff of theirs has. Then again I might need to hear it in the context of the album. Septic Flesh released a single a few months ago that I liked but didn't love. Then I heard it in the context of the rest of the album and it made a lot more sense (the new SF rules, btw...I usually hate symphonic stuff, but it really worked for me).
Honestly I can't decide if I'm disappointed or not. Musically it's not bad. It's just the whole "will and purpose" of the band aspect that feels pretty off.
Cheers to the hard-on bearer who sent out the link.

If you are honest, Pete's drumsound was far from organic on H. His sound was so triggered it sounded almost the same as the demotrack drums. And his whole kit was triggered live also. I really think Tims playing fits the mold Pete set. It is not exactly Pete but thats logical. The Blasts are still in Commando style.

I´m wondering what would Nevermore sounds like on album, because chorus is quite similar on this song. Maybe it's not exactly the same song that we have already heard...

I really dig this song. This has really good vibe, good groove and the immediate attacking of guitars from the beginning. Dave sounds good but somehow I do miss Steve.
Anyway; Hell yeah!
EDIT: If this songs would have been on Gateways or Heretic I think it would have been the best track on it.
