I love all the first five albums but SHOW NO MERCY gets my vote, in the name of baphomet

I also love it as hell. But "evil has no boundaries" and "black magic" are too much amazing for not getting the victory

Re: Slayer
You forgot Haunting the Chapel...
Haunting and Chemical warfare are two Gems too.
Still, for me Hell Awaits. To me their darkest album.
Listen to Praise of death and you'll see what i mean.
Deceased in mind decree of Death
Blackened heart baptized in fire
Exertion now need to blitz
Vicious ways brought up in Hell
Draw the line Life or Death
Potent thrust excessive pain
Massive dose adrenalin
Minor threat can not decline
Stricken to live, Hell on Earth
Shackled and bound we lie
Praise of Death life's a dream
We're only living to die
Victim of life insanity lives
Deep in shock intensive care
Tables turned blast of strength
Kill at once time to prevail
Begin to crank feel the rush
Start to rage take to extremes
Push too far overkill
Time to die no way to win
Stricken to live, Hell on Earth
Shackled and bound we lie
Praise of Death life's a dream
We're only living to die
Running and hunting and slashing
and crushing and searching
and seeing and stabbing and shooting
and thrashing and smashing and
burning destroying and killing
and bleeding and pleading then Death
At Mach ten velocity
Pressure builds can't take the strain
Life blood flows to its grave
Dripping sweat, Death shall erase
Time to think time to breath
Feel the pulse life will expire
Surging speed Hell afast
Cardiac cease to exist
Stricken to live, Hell on Earth
Shackled and bound we lie
Praise of Death life's a dream
We're only living to die

exactly this
"Live Undead" in reality is a recorded session reharsal without the approval of the band. Also the audience is a fake.
The album came out without Slayer approval.

Re: Slayer
everything i've read over the years indicates that it was done live in the studio in front of a small crowd of fans. i believe slayer is even listed as having production credits, and it was released on their own label and everything. i just don't know how this is considered a bootleg, do you have like an interview or anything where they came out against the release or something?

Re: Slayer
There really was no need to post anything after Reign in Blood. I think they pretty much stopped there.
