both finally arrived :gay:

didn't bother with FLA on vinyl as it's not a particularly great-sounding album to start, and the consensus seems to be that only the original UK analog release is worthwhile. the 2006 CD remasters are the only other release that use that same mix and the quality is as good as the old wax and cost me $3 instead of $60

floodland is fantastic however. very very quiet though owing to cramming about 30 minutes of material on each side, have to crank my amplifier to about 50% to get a good volume out of it. but there are lots of neat little flourishes in this mastering/mix that get lost in the shitty digital streaming version i'm accustomed to. mega happy with this purchase

next up, some siouxsie & the banshees on vinyl, your old pal stormy's apparently going goth :alien:

business metal casual :xx:

that's a sweet floodland press, I hate the big-ass stripe on it though

Russian press of At the Heart of Winter and Gorguts' Obscura/FWTH combo on CD.

Also snagged the Blood Incantation / Spectral Voice split on tape when I went to see Cianide last month.

Also Cianide's descent into hell on CD, a recent reissue from DDR.

Been a while since any hauls, cuz I've been blowing my 'fuck you money' on upgrading my pedalboard to more pro level shit.

This month I bought:

Mortal Decay - a gathering of human artifacts (demo cd, reissued just weeks ago)
Blood Incantation - Live Vitrification LP.
