Flaming Lips - Hit to Death in the Future Head
Flaming Lips/Mastodon - Split 7"
all for the low price of a bunch of duplicate videogame systems i have zero use for!

Re: Music Haul
still another hour until i can meet this hard-on bearer to get my turntable
i've also got the atheist boxset that came out a while back, the altars reissue from 2002, and the grand declaration of war picture disc that came with the limited boxset. all of which i've had for years and never had anything to play them on i'm getting restless!
mostly i'm really, really interested to hear mastodon's take on the flaming lips though

Re: Music Haul
i just walked in and did my thang, didn't even have to wait in line to cash out. but i guess there were probably a bunch of limited thangs that i missed out on. that flaming lips/mastodon 7" was the only RSD-specific item i bought, 'cuz it was the only one that looked like it was worth buying.
i'm enjoying this vinyl business so far, but i feel like i'm going to regret it soon when it dawns on me that i am going to have to be extremely selective in my purchases at $25 a pop

I said fuck it and drove the 45 miles to Newbury Comics in West Leb, NH. My god the sexy leopard elevator who rang me out got my heart pumping. I procured Warsaw - Warsaw, Tool - Opiate, and a pair of used CDs for the drive home. (Cure - Disintegration, Pavement - Brighten The Corners)

It doesn't look like an appealing town, but my experiences in it are limited. The two girls working made my pantsplace happy.

New Hampshire
The whole state is a giant shit. I've been up and down that place, played shows from central NH and down and it is all just one big shit. So much so that this song was written for it and played there as often as possible.

I've passed through Portsmouth only on my way to Maine (I like to go up the coastal highway) but I've never been to Nashua.

ozzy osbourne - diary of a madman reissue
they even had the decency to use the original recordings, unlike the cd pressings where they re-did the drums/bass to avoid paying royalties to the original musicians

Re: Music Haul
700$ really is
Still, its almost 10 years of work. Should make some nice cash for himself. On top of the whole 'contender for best album of the decade' thing.

Re: Music Haul
A book required for class was cheap on Amazon. I wanted to round up to nab the Free Super-Saver Shipping. I did so with:
Broken Hope - Grotesque Blessings
Graeme Revell - The Crow (the score for the movie)
Also, the new Marilyn Manson came in. It's not as overall good as I thought it'd be, but the handful of solid tunes on it were worth the purchase.
Civil Disobedience - In A Few Hours Of Madness 7" is in the mail and on the way (replacing a cunted up copy)

i bought it yesterday without downloading first
shit feels weird after all these years. It's a decent album. Though that track 10 ballad song is pretty bad.
