Its a stupid expensive habit dude. That's why I only buy stuffs I really want on vinyl short of stumbling across cheap stuffos.

I have been doing this lately as well, and yes it is very expensive but I love the format and compared to CDs you get so much more for your money in respect to artworks and bonus content and things like that

This is something I've been wanting to start doing for a while now but which, due to various reasons, I haven't. There's quite a lot of labels putting out stuff on vinyl these days, including quite a lot of death metal. Most of the stuff I've considered buying is only a couple of pounds more than the same release on CD. I can justify spending the extra money though because, like you said, with vinyl you get more for your money.

I haven't found the actual CD yet, I got my hands on a promo for a very low price. It will do for me in a while! Nice with the Diabolic CD, have you heard Supreme Evil? It's definatly their most savage one IMO!

If you don't know about this site already, I reccomend http://www.shop-hellsheadbangers.com. It has an incredibly great selection of old records and new releases and they are constantly re-stocking and getting in new stuff.
I'm lucky enough to live 40 minutes from their warehouse so I sometimes get my stuff the day after I order it. IF you're from the UK, you should still get yours fast, just check the feedback section. There are a bunch of people that aren't from the U.S. that use the site.

I've browsed Hells Headbangers before but never actually ordered anything... some good stuff on there.
If you're in the US I urge you to check out both Dark Descent, they run a killer distro but for orders outside the US the postage can be a bit steep. Necroharmonic might also be worth a visit if you're into obscure death metal, although their distro is somewhat inconsistent.

I think I'm going to stop buying CDs if there is a record available. I'll download what I buy and burn for my car. With digital media, there's really no point in buying CDs for me.
