went to judas priest last night

highlights: rob halford riding a motorcycle onto the tiny palladium stage in full gay regalia for hellbent for leather, also glenn tipton came out the encore

lowlights: ever since their recent renovation, the palladium now charges you extra to get into the pit area of the floor. what a fuckin' joke that place, they fancy themselves a high-end boston venue or some shit

I sarded on Ministry / Chelsea Wolfe last night.

tickets were $50 and i've seen Ministry before. meh.

next up is either Kamelot, Delain, Battle Beast and/or Demilich, Artificial Brain, Blood Incantation . they are playing only a couple days apart from each other - definitely gonna make Demilich but we'll see about Kamelot.

the boston date sold out, it was packed wall to wall. there were enough metalheads in attendance to support a few pits breaking out which was a pleasant surprise

this is supposedly part 1 of their north american jaunt which leads me to believe they will eventually make their way toward your area later in the year

I saw Godspeed You! Black Emperor last night, really interesting show. loved the projector setup they had going throughout. bizarre group, they said nothing during the entire show and immediately left the stage as soon as the last song was over

Tyr, Orphaned Land, and Aeternam were fucking awesome! Ghost Ship Octavius sucked.
There were protesters at the show but vice squad presence that the venue called in and metal heads being metal heads kind of scared them off. fucking idiots.

hoping to see Obituary, Pallbearer, Skeletonwitch, and Dust Bolt next Saturday but Ive been spending an assload of money on shows and bar tabs lately so I might miss this one - I'll have to see.

had to miss Obituary last weekend - ticket website got hacked a few days before and didn't come back online until the day of the show - sold out almost immediately. oh well.
