it was a couple of short soundclip interludes, and a couple-three acknowledgements of the crowd from troy. and extended thanks at the end of course
otherwise, full speed ahead are they coming to the dutchylands this summer?

it clicked for me finally the brent intro is and the lyrics don't really fit the rest of the song but the rest of the song is a bigjorsh wrote:horse dealies wrote:show yourself is kind of bleh, but at least it has the decency to be concise. jaguar god is just this big blob to me, i'm still waiting for it to come together
jaguar god is fucking mint. i got it on listen one. its a curious one for sure. at first, it was the album highlight for me on first listen. with subsequent listens it dipped to the middle of the pack. now like 2 weeks later its back at the top again. listening to the solo right now as i type this. fuck. so good.

i can appreciate leviathan for being a huge step forward from remission, and for having several all-time great heavy metal songs, let alone mastodon songs
but i got burned out on that album years ago
it is sort of like the big lebowski in that regard. it was a huge influence on me and made me laugh tremendously and i would still enjoy talking about it all day from the point of view of craftsmanship, but these days i'd rather watch a serious man
